Business: Low Sales Recorded By Retailers During The Festive Season In South Africa

Several retailers in South Africa are complaining fervently, this can be majorly attributed to the impact of the coronavirus in the country and the continent at large. They have so far recorded low sales of major commodity during Christmas and the New year celebrations.

Massmart proprietors of Makro and Builders Warehouse, recorded a 4 percent deals decay for the final quarter to R25.6 billion.

The gathering said deals and pedestrian activity had stayed quieted in December, though with more grounded deals execution in home improvement and DIY classes.
