The 2025/26 season marks the start of the new Proteas Men’s contracted squad as CSA has given 18 national contracts plus 2 hybrid contracts to its players across June 2025 and May 2026. CSA created hybrid contracts so that David Miller and Rassie van der Dussen can participate in specified bilateral tours and ICC events during this contract period. CSA bestowed national contracts to Lizaad Williams and Senuran Muthusamy, along with their selections of Senuram Muthusamy and Kwena Maphaka. The upcoming season features crucial tours and two major ICC events.
