Bruce Willis is an American retired actor. He is famous for his leading role in the comedy-drama series Moonlighting. In his career, he has appeared in more than a hundred films. He received immense popularity after his portrayal of John McClane in the Die Hard franchise.

Bruce Willis is one of the American actors who fell prey to the fake death rumours. His death rumours often get viral on social media.

Is Bruce Willis dead?

No, Bruce Willis is not dead. Willis has taken retirement from his acting career due to health problems. In March last year, his family announced that Willis would be “stepping away” from his acting career because he was diagnosed with aphasia, a disorder that affects a person’s ability to communicate.

Recently, his family said that he was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, a disorder that causes problems with behaviour and language.

Last year in November, a Facebook post claimed that the actor died. The Facebook post read, “We announce the sad news of Actor Bruce Willis, along with a tearful farewell.” However, the news was fake.

In an interview with CinemaBlend, Schwarzenegger praised the actor. He said, “He was, always for years and years, a huge, huge star, and I think that he will always be remembered as a great, great star.” He also called Bruce Willis a helpful and kind man.

Schwarzenegger further said, “I understand that he had to retire because of his health issues. But in general, you know, we never really retire. Action heroes, they reload.”

In the wake of Willis’ retirement, several actors have started paying tribute to him. John Travolta said, “I just know that when something good happens to you (Willis), I feel like it’s happening to me.”
