In the latest development, Kizz Daniel’s ‘Buga’ video has hit over 2.2 million views on YouTube in just 24 hours. Oluwatobiloba Daniel, popularly known as “Kizz Daniel” has announced the news on his verified Instagram page.
Daniel thanked his fans on his Instagram account. He wrote, “Wow!! 2m in 24hrs THANK YOU WORLD VA’22 #BUGA.”
‘Buga’ song was also trending in other countries, according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN). Daniel also said that the audio of Buga, which was released in May, had recorded 17 million views on TikTok. On social media, a challenge was earlier created to promote the song.
Since its release, ‘Buga’ has enjoyed massive reception among music lovers across the world. The hit track also found its way to the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primaries in Abuja, a few weeks ago, as many people were seen vibing to the song. Lagos governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, also danced to ‘Buga’.
Reportedly, Daniel had earlier gone on a musical tour to Manchester, London and Birmingham with the audio of Buga before the release of the video. He had gone on tour to eight African countries and the song became number one.
Daniel is scheduled to move to the Gambia on June 25. He will also start a tour to 10 places in the United States in July. Daniel is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He is best known for his singles “Woju” and “Yeba”.
Daniel recently also said that he would like to perform ‘Buga‘at the 2022 FIFA World Cup. ‘Buga’ song also features Tekno, a famous Nigerian singer.
Daniel wrote on Twitter, “God I want to perform ‘Buga’ for the World Cup with a mass choir. Help me say amen.” This year’s World Cup is scheduled to begin in November in Qatar.
