NEWS: Uganda To Repay Casualties Of Savage Mobs

President of Uganda, Yoweri Museveni has made an announcement on Monday, saying the government of the country will repay and compensate victims involved in the just recent Savage mob attack in Uganda. He further said they would also compensate family members of the dead.

In a broadcast address, Museveni said the public authority would repay the groups of the people in question, the harmed, and the individuals who lost property during what he called “silly uproars” over the capture of Robert Kyagulanyi.

“The public authority will remunerate each one of the individuals who lost their lives yet were not agitators.

“We will likewise repay the individuals who lost their properties in the event that it very well may be checked,” said Museveni.

The Elections in the country is set to take place in 2021, Incumbent president Yoweri Museveni remains the favourite to win the election that would keep him in office despite the resistance’s challenge.
