Nigerian Olympian who recently divorced her husband, open to new relationship

Last updated on September 11th, 2021 at 02:51 pm

Blessing Okagbare is Nigeria’s most successful athlete but she could not replicate her success in her marriage.

The former world 200 meters champion recently divorced her husband Igho Otegheri who is a former Super Eagles player after six years.

It is understood that the union crashed due to laziness, infidelity and irreconcilable differences between both parties.

And when Oteghri was contacted he said: “She has said all the stories. I don’t anything to say. I leave everything to God.

Thank you.” But Okagbare has decided to move on with her life as she made a funny bid for any man willing to have a relationship.

Reports claim that the United States-based athlete initiated the divorce process which caused clashes between their respective families.

The Delta state-born athlete said: “I’m no longer dating. If you’re interested in me, I need a 500-word essay on how you will not waste my time,” Okagbare said according to Instablog.

Nigerian men will gladly yield to the proposal of the Olympic bronze medallist who plainly stated that she wants a hardworking man.
