Delphin Katembo Vinywasiki popularly known as Delcat Idengo is a leading musician from the DRC celebrated for his revolutionary songs attacking both the government and the rebel groups. His music resonated with many, positioning him as one of the leading personalities in the cultural and political arena of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Idengo met a very sad death on Thursday, February 13th 2025 in Turunga, North Kivu province near Goma. Reports indicate that the artist was shot indeed during the filming of a music video for a song that he intended to finish and release that very night.
