Miley Cyrus’ ‘Flowers’ and Lady Gaga’s ‘Bloody Mary’ ranked second and third, respectively. ‘Calm Down’ song made history as the first African song to top the Global Shazam Year-End list.
The song has become the highest-charting song of 2023 on Apple Music’s global chart. It ranked number 12 in the world on Apple Music in 2023. The song also ranked No.45 most-streamed song of 2023 in the United States on Apple Music. It was the highest-ranked African song on Apple Music’s Top 100 global list.

Rema’s Calm Down charted at the end of the year list in more than 7 countries. Recently, the Nigerian singer made history with his spectacular performance at London’s O2 Arena. He made grand style riding on the back of a horse painted red and black.
