South Africa: As schools reopen, teachers express concern

Teachers unions in South Africa expressed problem Monday as thousands and thousands of college students again to faculty after a precautionary smash in July due to the spread of the novel coronavirus in the country.    

Basil Manuel, president of the National Professional Teachers’ Organization of South Africa (NAPTOSA), stated they were concerned whether the authorities has addressed instances of overcrowded schools and water grant shortages.

Elijah Mhlanga, the spokesman for the Department of Education, said schools are ready to deal with the influx of learners with safety measures in area to fight unfold of COVID-19.
