South Africa Targets Indian Travelers with Bold Tourism Push

South African Tourism has declared a new business plan that will completely transform how they promote South Africa to tourists and business partners from India. South Africa plans to introduce new programs at its 2025 India Roadshow events from March 18th through the 20th in Dallas Chennai and Mumbai to draw tourists from India and enhance international relations

South Africa starts the Electronic Travel Authorization and Trusted Tour Operator Scheme to make the visa application process easier. The introduction of these reforms matches well with the expected strong return of Indian travelers after 2024 as 75,541 tourists visited. Organizations and businesses make up over half of visitors to South Africa through the MICE tourism sector where business travel counts as 20.2% of all segments.
