Later on Tuesday, a Russian-built Sudanese military plane crashed in a residential neighbourhood in Omdurman, killing at least 46 people and injuring 10 others. The incident is making global headlines.
The exact cause of the crash is still unclear. But it has been reported that the incident is likely because of a technical malfunction. The health ministry said that emergency teams rushed those injured, including children, to a nearby hospital.
