Bafana Bafana’s Percy Tau is one step closer to clinching another piece of silverware for his trophy cabinet as he draws in on a European trophy…
The 25-year-old has played 20 games in all competitions in his first season in the Belgian top-flight with Club Brugge following his loan from Brighton & Hove Albion in England, getting four goals along the way for the Belgian giants.
It’s not been the easiest start to 2020 for the Bafana star as he struggles to consistently make Philippe Clement’s starting XI, but he is now closing in on Croky Cup success as his side knocked out Zulte Waragem in the Belgian Cup semifinals last night.
Tau didn’t make it off the bench in the second leg this week but did feature in the first, and he has a goal to his name in the competition after scoring in their earlier victory over Francs Borains last year.
Tonight Brugge will find out whether it will be KV Kortrijk or Royal Antwerp who they will face in the final of the competition as they look to win it for the first time since 2015, with the final set to take place on March 22 in Brussels.
