The cricket authority in Zimbabwe will organize matches between top international teams in a major cricket event expected to succeed in recent times. South Africa and New Zealand will test-match for all games while participating in a T20I tri-series during their tour of South Africa.
The Tests against South Africa start at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo with a first Test since 2017. Zimbabwe will use this match to launch a tournament that proves how their performance has improved at the international level.
The Test matches will end on July 14, and the tournament will begin as a T20I tri-series. The event will have six matches where Zimbabwe faces South Africa and New Zealand twice during a fourteen-day period. The last tournament match on July 26th gives both teams the chance to win the tournament championship title.
Givemore Makoni as Zimbabwe Cricket Managing Director showed enthusiasm before the matches began. He complimented: “our largest collection of international fixtures scheduled at home for a long period. Our players gain important performance assessments by facing these two top international cricket teams in fixtures.”
