Zimbabwe: Zim Undeterred By Western Hostility: VP Mohadi

Acting President Kembo Mohadi says it is a matter of time before nations that are hostile to Zimbabwe realise that they are wrong and unfair to the Southern African country.

Speaking after meeting the outgoing UN Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Mr Bishow Parajuli in Harare this morning, Cde Mohadi said it is unfortunate that some western countries have tended to believe their own lies about Zimbabwe, adding that the country will remain resilient in the face of such hostility.

“They are members of the UN…but they have been demonizing us and they have ended up believing their lies about Zimbabwe, which is not true. But those who come to Zimbabwe and see things for themselves, have found out that the situation is different…So we are okay with ourselves, they [west] will come to realise it, we are a resilient nation, we will find our way, we will get there, with or without them and they will join the bandwagon,” said Cde Mohadi.
