Palestinian health authorities registered 182 additional coronavirus instances in the blockaded Gaza Strip on Monday.
In a statement, the Health Ministry stated the seaside territory’s tally rose to 1,151 cases, consisting of nine deaths, and 89 recoveries.
The ministry renewed its calls on residents to adhere to precautionary measures to stem the infections, particularly among youngsters and the elderly.
The Hamas-led authorities imposed a lockdown in Gaza on Aug. 24 to assist curb the outbreak in the blockaded enclave.
