South Africa’s Sho Madjozi Celebrates Her Hometown In New Video ‘Idhom’

This past weekend rising star Sho Madjozi was a big winner at the South African Music Awards bagging multiple awards including some of the nights biggest awards.
Sho Madjozi won two of the coveted SAMA25 awards Newcomer of the Year and Female Artist of the Year.
During one of her acceptance speech at the awards, Tsonga rapper Sho Madjozi announced that she would be releasing a new video for her Idhom, which was inspired by her ex-partner.
The track taken from her critically acclaimed debut album Limpopo Champions Leagu e is one long selfie video made with the kids from her hometown Shirley Village in Limpopo.

The video is raw and shot on a regular day in her village.
The video is edited from a few continuous frames of youngsters passing a mobile phone to each other while filming themselves and Sho Madjozi in and around the village.
