The UAE continued its humanitarian aid to Lebanon, sending three more planes carrying essential relief aid, including medical and food supplies, ambulances, and shelter equipment.
These flights are part of the two-week national relief campaign, “The UAE Stands with Lebanon,” which kicked off on October 8. This initiative is coordinated with important international organizations, including the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC).
The campaign was launched under the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister, along with H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, oversees the initiative to ensure its success.
