Vodacom Group has named Mohamed Abdallah as Chief Executive Officer of Vodacom International Markets with a mandate to extend his leadership beyond Vodafone Egypt to include major markets in Africa such as Mozambique, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Tanzania and Lesotho.
The restructuring plan is part of Vodacom’s Vision 2030 plan, a long term initiative aimed at optimising operations, driving digital growth and providing better value for customers across Africa.
