Apple’s ChatGPT rival app is now available to employees for internal work

Apple, the world’s largest technology company by revenue, has tested its ChatGPT rival generative AI-based app among its employees. According to a report by Bloomberg’s Mark Gunman, the new Apple’s AI offering is helping employees for internal work. 

Apple has pushed for its AI offering ready by next year. The app can summarize text and answer questions based on the data. Apple is improving its software engineering, machine learning and cloud engineering divisions. An internal ChatGPT-like service app is already available for its employees.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman said in Power On that the company was looking at ways to expand the use of generative AI within its organization. 

According to reports, Apple has reportedly instructed their employees not to use chatbots or ChatGPT due to the risk of information leakage, and their “hallucinations” that produce false information can be disastrous.

According to reports, ChatGPT, launched by OpenAI, has encountered various difficulties, including inaccurate answers and false data.

Recently, Satya Nadella, an Indian-American business executive who is the executive chairman and CEO of Microsoft, and Mark Zuckerberg, an American business magnate, computer programmer, internet entrepreneur, philanthropist, and the CEO of Meta announced the AI partnership to make a free ChatGPT like tool.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said that they would make an artificial intelligence (AI) system to offer a free ChatGPT like tool, but in a different approach.

Elon Musk, the world’s richest person, also launched his artificial intelligence startup xAI. He explained his plan for building a safer AI. Earlier, he predicted that a smarter AI than humans would arrive in the coming years.
