Burkina Faso’s President appoints a new Prime Minister

Burkina Faso -Following the resignation of Christophe Dabire, the government of Burkina Faso has announced the selection of a new prime minister. Lassina Zerbo, the former head of a top nuclear watchdog, has been appointed as the country’s next leader. President Kabore, who is facing an increasing threat from Islamic terrorists, has pleaded for assistance from all quarters.

Our defense and security forces, as well as our volunteers for the defense of the country, need our help. This is why I am asking all of our country’s boys and daughters to assist in the war effort in whatever way they can. Our government will be given the appropriate instructions for establishing a framework for collecting contributions and managing them in a transparent manner, “the President pleaded.
