Davido, also known as David Adedeji Adeleke, performed in Lagos, a city in Nigeria, on April 23, at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS). It was Davido’s first home performance of the album songs dubbed ‘A Timeless Night’ in Nigeria at the 50,000-capacity venue.
Before the performance, Davido visited the Lagos State Commissioner of Police to ensure extra security for his fans. The concert attracted a huge number of fans.
Davido’s concert ticket price in Lagos was N20,000, with the highest sales for millions. Fans purchased tickets to see Davido perform in Lagos.
Davido performed his latest songs at the concert. He also spoke about his upcoming deluxe album. He said that his fans can look forward to more great songs. He further said that he would continue performing at the highest level for his fans in Africa.
Last month, his special album kicked off in New York. During the concert tour, he said that he preferred to keep his music simple and fun. In March, Davido set the release date for the new album.
Recently, at a press conference, the successful Nigerian singer said, “There’s emotion but not too much emotion in the album. If you listen to Davido’s music over the years, I have always been a happy person whether I was going through something or not.”
His ‘Timeless’ album became a super hit in Africa. He registered great success in Nigeria. The album crossed all records across all five major streaming platforms in Nigeria.
