FIFA U-17 World Cup: Minister urges Eaglets to beat Ecuador

Nigerian Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Mr. Sunday Dare has urged the Golden Eaglets to beat Ecuador on Tuesday night in the ongoing 2019 U17 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
Manu Garba men secured their win in the Group B opener after coming from behind to triumph over 4-2 victory in matchday 1 last weekend after two goals from Samson Tijani and one each from Oluwatimilehin Adeniyi and Usman Ibrahim in the encounter.

The Minister while expressing confidence in the team’s ability to perform well, said, “I urge the Golden Eaglets to give their heart and soul to the game. It is a crucial encounter with Ecuador no doubt, but Nigerians are confident in their skills and determination.
“The Nigerian can do spirit again comes on display and the brilliance of our youth football is there for the world to see”, he added.
Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets will Tuesday take on Ecuador in their second match of the Under-17 FIFA World Cup.
