President Adama Barrow of Gambia has officially launched his new political party in the country, this move is to boost his chances in the presidential election coming in December. President Barrow is already soliciting for support ahead of the election, the name of the newly established party is the National People’s Party (NPP)
In a broadcast of a gathering that saw a huge horde of representatives and allies accumulated at the Independence Stadium in Bakau, around 12 km from the capital Banjul, the 55-year-old legislator said the NPP.
Made and announced in December 2019, Barrow held on to formally dispatch the NPP.
Maybe deliberately, considering the savage fights against him that very month and furthermore in January 2020 for not respecting his vow to venture down following three years following his December 2016 victory.
