On 1 February, he celebrated his 39th birthday. How did he celebrate his birthday? He celebrated his birthday with his wife Mo Bimpe, who is also a famous Nollywood actress. Mo Bimpe wrote on Instagram, “Hey HubStar, It’s officially your birthday in Naija. Happy birthday to the best in everything. I call him my genius. My fav in every way. Love you, my Superstar.”

On his birthday, the actor also talked about his struggles. He revealed that he was picked up by a non-governmental organisation (NGO) for unintentionally making people laugh. He said that his journey in life was never smooth but he never gave up. He reportedly said, “From the days I skipped classes to pursue this dream, to the year I graduated from UNI in 2007/2008, this stubborn boy didn’t give up.”
The actor revealed that he used to borrow money to go on a movie set. He used to borrow clothes to wear on set because he wasn’t getting paid. He said, “I remember begging for money and food to survive.”
He further said, “I finally started getting paid 1000, 2000, and 5000 for a lead role, I remember receiving the payments with so much joy.” He started acting in Nollywood films and made money. He thanked God for his grace and mercy. The actor finally said, “Happy birthday to me. 1st of February baby.”
