LG officially ends support for all smartphone users next month

There is something LG smartphone users across the globe might not like. The South Korean company exited the smartphone market in 2021 but had promised people updates for eligible models for 3 years. This thing is going to stop from next month.

LG has announced to officially stop support for its smartphone users. From next month, LG smartphones are not going to be able to install any OS updates. Furthermore, if any user has deleted applications during initialisation, they cannot install them again.

LG smartphone users seeing pending updates are recommended to act quickly. Missing these updates means missing out on a number of features. The absence of security updates could also expose these smartphones to potential threats.

Before the rise of Chinese smartphones, brands like LG used to be dominant players. But many factors contributed to the decline of these companies, such as poor marketing strategies, failure to adapt to changing demands and poor decision-making.
