Prof. Kate Omenugha, Anambra Commissioner for Education stated that 1,000 infrared thermometers would be distributed in preparations for the possible reopening of colleges in the state.

Omenugha informed newsmen in Awka on Sunday that the pass was accepted through the State Executive Council.

According to her, this is phase of efforts to ensure that the schools meet the minimal coronavirus (COVID-19) protocols.

Other gadgets which include buckets and hand washing soap, would be provided by using the faculties themselves.

Omenugha stated that the nation used to be not leaving something to chance, mainly with regards to the 2020 WASSCE and the JSSE.
