Politics: Prime Minister Resigns Following Criticism In DR Congo

Prime Minister of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Sylvestre Ilunga Ilunkamba has resigned of Friday from his post. This can be particulary attributed political crisis in the country especially between Sylvestre Ilunga Ilunkamba and President Felix Tshisekedi. A new prime minister will be appointed by the president following Ilunkamba’s resignation.

Ilunga, a nearby partner to previous president Joseph Kabila whose allies have been in a force battle with Tshisekedi, was unavoidably needed to leave subsequent to being blamed by the National Assembly on Wednesday.

Legislators in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) on Wednesday had excused the PM on Wednesday night during a parliament whole meeting held in Kinshasa.

The excusal came after most of the officials passed a demonstration of general disapproval to the Premier asserting his failure in the administration of the country.

The National Assembly affirmed a movement of rebuff against Ilunga Ilunkamba and his administration by 367 votes to seven.
