Silhouette, an eyewear company headquartered in Linz in Austria, is partnering with an American aspiring female astronaut Alyssa Carson for its groundbreaking Titan Minimal Art collection.
Titan Minimal Art design has been the eyewear of choice worn in space for more than two decades. Silhouette International Schmied AG aims to support Carson’s dream of becoming the first human on Mars.
Silhouette International has been a state-awarded training company for a decade. It offers full service for both frames and lenses. Titan Minimal Art collection reduces the potential danger to astronauts and makes space travel beautiful.
Carson is best known for attending various space camps and visiting NASA visitor centres across nine states in the United States. The 21 years old American space enthusiast is the perfect partner for Silhouette.
Recently, she did an exclusive shoot with female fashion photographer, Alex Seifert, for Silhouette International. She wore the latest TMA – LaLigne frames as part of Silhouette’s campaign to support young and empowered women.

During the photo shoot, Carson wore the special edition assortment with neon-coloured frames. The look offered a fresh look and the appearance of bold and bright eyes.
Titan Minimal Art was launched in 1999. Since then, it has been worn by 73 astronauts on missions totalling 86,833 hours. It is just 1.8 grams.
Carson is known for her talent. Carson is an Astronautical Science Researcher at the International Institute for Astronautical Sciences (IIAS). She is the founder of The Blueberry Foundation, which empowers, engages and innovates the younger generation around the world.
