South Africa: I’ve Been Racially Abused By Police Officers – Malema

South Africa’s Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema addressed his supporters after acting in the Randburg Magistrates Court.

On Tuesday, he and birthday party MP Mbuyiseni Ndlozi face assault charges in opposition to a white police officer that date again to the funeral of African National Congress (ANC) veteran Winnie Madikizela Mandela in 2018.

He continues their innocence and draws racial parallels with the current farm murders, “That black boy who killed a white man must go and rot in jail. He’s not our problem.

We do not shield criminals. But we will never allow white guys to exhibit us what they confirmed Mandela at some stage in the negotiations.

That aspect ought to have ended there. That white conceitedness must have ended there. It cannot proceed now, 25 years into democracy.”

President Cyril Ramaphosa has frowned against racial attack particularly from Police Officers, Ramaphosa said it would be beneficial for everyone if citizens can live peacefully irrespective of the race.
