Africa – The third Turkey-Africa Partnership Summit is now taking place in Istanbul under the auspices of the Turkish Republic’s Presidency. The two-day conference follows a high-level business roundtable on investment and trade that took place in October. The meeting will ensure that Turkey’s strategic ties with African countries are advanced to a new level.

The summit’s theme is “joint development and expanded collaboration for prosperity,” and Turkey’s Foreign Minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu, has stated that Turkey wants to help Africa succeed. “Our goal is to win alongside Africa and move together into the future.” On the margins of the event, Turkey’s president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, had a series of talks with leaders and top officials.
