Sudan: Death toll from flooding climbs to 138

The loss of life toll from flooding in Sudan triggered by way of months of heavy rains has risen to 138, the country’s Interior Ministry said early Tuesday.  

More than 100,000 houses have end up partly or totally unusable due to floods. 

The ministry brought that 56 humans have been injured in the flooding. 

Earlier this month, Sudan’s Security and Defense Council declared a national kingdom of emergency for three months. 

The global community, specially countries like Turkey and Qatar, continues to supply humanitarian assistance to flood victims in Sudan.
