Government Authorities Imposes 30-Day Lockdown For Zimbabwe

Government authorities in Zimbabwe has imposed a new 30-day lockdown in the country, this is coming in light of the surge in coronavirus cases. This announcement was made by Constantino Chiwenga the vice president of the country.

The new time limit was reported on Saturday by Vice President Constantino Chiwenga.

“We have seen a flood in COVID-19 cases and passings, practically twofold in two months, from 8,374 on 1 November to 14,084 to date. Considering the new flood in COVID-19 cases the accompanying hardened lockdown measures are being set up with quick impact,” he said.

Beside the sunrise to-nightfall check in time, different measures have been once again introduced.
