Ethiopia Ethiopia – Ethiopia may finally have some relief for the Tigray community as the administration has given its nod for allowing aid to help the community after taking note of their sufferings for nearly two years.

With this, the Ethiopian government has also announced a unilateral truce. This is a big step from a government that was least willing to even let the Tigrays out of the hook after starvation reports.

The United States and the United Nations have repeatedly tried to intervene in the matter calling on human rights concerns but the leaders were reluctant to let aid be dispatched.

The African nation announced ‘an indefinite humanitarian truce effective immediately’ while also adding that from here on, it hopes to help and be available to the Tigray, especially since the reports of them facing starvation.
