NDA Releases Screening Guidelines for 77 Regular Course Admission 2025

The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has officially launched the screening process for its 77th Regular Course admissions for 2025. The screening process is important to those who wish to join Nigeria’s leading military institution.

According to Major Mohammed Maidawa, candidates who are eligible for the  Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) 2025 and chose NDA as their first choice must meet the following conditions: a minimum of 180 UTME score for all other courses except Engineering which requires a score of at least 210.

The NDA will conduct its nationwide Screening Test on May 24, 2025. Eligible candidates will receive an email to select their screening centres, if they meet the minimum score requirements. Those who are successful through the NDA Screening Test process will be invited to the Armed Forces Selection Board at the NDA for the full medical, physical and mental preparation.

Candidates are advised not to upload their JAMB result at this time, as the NDA will request all their results directly from JAMB.

The Academy has indicated its concern surrounding individuals trying to commit fraud and pretending to be the NDA by creating fake social media pages and accounts so candidates must be sensible and only follow a verified NDA page or platform for updates.

If candidates have any further questions they may reach the Academy Registry in either by email at [email protected]. The list of successful candidates will be officially released through national newspapers and the NDA’s official website.

This screening process is also important for candidates who are looking to begin their journey through the NDA and undertake training to join the Nigerian Armed Forces.
