As the Ivory Coast Presidential elections approaches, the opposition group of the country has been told to participate in the election coming up on the 31st of October 2020.
There are three opposition leaders contesting for the presidential position, a candidate Kouadio Konan Bertin by name instructed his supporters not to vote in the forthcoming election. This didn’t sit well with the electoral college of the country.
His call comes after resistance groups requested that their allies blacklist the surveys. They have required a blacklist denouncing the constituent specialists and protected chamber of being one-sided and incapable to ensure a reasonable political race.
“Abandoning the surveys isn’t the arrangement, I have consistently said it and I rehash. I solicit just a single thing from the Ivorians: that they proceed to cast a ballot.” Kouadio Konan Bertin , autonomous possibility for the official political decision told columnists.
Alassane Ouattara remains the favorite amongst the four candidate to win the election.
