Kabaka Mutebi has visited Kenyan president Uhuru Kenyatta, a improvement that further dispels allegations that he used to be dead.
“President Uhuru Kenyatta these days at State House, Nairobi held talks with the Kabaka of the Buganda Kingdom, Ronald Edward Frederick Kimera Muwenda Mutebi II who paid him a visit,” a tweet from State Kenya reads in part.
According to the tweet, President Kenyatta and the Kabaka mentioned subjects of mutual activity including the central position of tradition in regional integration and peaceable communal co-existence.
The country has been awash with rumours of Kabaka’s alleged demise after his departure by street to Kenya closing week.
A lady who claimed to be a member of the Buganda Royal Family circulated an audio message on social media alleging that the Kabaka had been poisoned and rushed abroad for treatment
On Monday, voices emerged declaring the dying of the Kabaka.
“That social media is turning into a centre of humorous behaviour. Some people simply put anything. They stated that somebody had poisoned the Kabaka and then later on stated he had clearly died,” Mr Museveni said.
“How can people behave like that? We shall go for them, I think police has arrested them,” Mr Museveni said.
