List of current ministers and their deputies in Ghana

New Ministerial Appointments and Deputy Ministers

The 24 ministers and deputy ministers nominated by

by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo approved by Parliament includes eight sector ministers, two regional ministers and 14 deputy ministers.

The confirmation took place on Friday, 17 May 2024, after Speaker of the House of Representatives Alban Bagbin convened an emergency session of Parliament.

The eight new ministers are

  1. Andrew Ejiaba Mercer, Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture
  2. Lydia Seram Alhassan, Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources
  3. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah, Minister of Local Government, Decentralisation and Rural 
  4. Development
  1. Ophelia Mensah Hayford, Minister of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation
  2. Darkwa Newman, Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection
  3. Dr Bernard Okoye Boye, Minister of Health
  4. Fatima Abubakar, Minister of Information
  5. Abena Osei-Asare, Minister of State at the Ministry of Finance
  6. Titus Glover, Minister for the Greater Accra Region
  7. Daniel Machator, Minister for Oti Region
