The Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) became the largest party in the Moroccan parliamentary elections held on September 23, 2026, claiming 97 of the 395 seats in the House of Representatives, according to provisional results provided by Interior Minister Abdelouafi Laftit. Reasons for Low Participation to Be Approximately 38%
The election witnessed the involvement of around 6 million citizens in the process, out of a total number of approximately 15.8 million registered voters. The Interior Ministry announced the turnout rate as 38.08% while others report it to be 38.02%.
