Quintessence of Madagascar πŸ‡²πŸ‡¬

Location: East Africa

Madagascar is a country with some of the best nature reserves and adventure anyone has ever experienced. However, traveling Madagascar independently is not for the faint hearted, especially if it’s your first time in Africa! Foreign explorers travel mostly around the south and western parts of the island, covering locations like Baobab Avenue , Ranomafana and Isalo National Parks and the spectacular Tsingy.
One of the reasons why traveling Madagascar is quite exhausting is the lack of infrastructure – roads are in terrible condition and public transport is almost non-existent save for taxi brousse, shared minibuses mostly used by locals. The upside is pristine nature, unique flora and fauna and no tourists save for a few daredevils – so we can only recommend visiting Madagascar, but make sure you pack some patience if you plan to tour the country independently using local transport!
