Burkina Faso: Council Of Ministers Postpones Fespaco Film Festival

The government of Burkina Faso has announced the postponement of the Fespaco Film Festival due to the coronavirus pandemic in the country and in Africa. The council postponed it to an unknown date.

The news was declared on Friday by government representative Ousseni Tamboura at a press preparation in Ouagadougou.

The realistic celebration which has united large number of onlookers and entertainers from the world to the capital city since its creation in 1969 and has added to the accomplishment of numerous extraordinary African chiefs in film, was to be held at February’s end.
