The powerful amapiano pair known as Scorpion Kings, DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small, have announced that they will be touring around South Africa in December, January, and February as part of the most recent iteration of their “Scorpion Kings Live” event brand.
The first “Scorpion Kings Live” performance took place in July in Pretoria‘s SunBet Arena, Time Square, where they put on a spectacular performance.
The two managed to sell out the venue and bring out amapiano giants like Daliwonga, Ami Faku, Bontle Smith, and Msaki after the event was postponed for two years due to the coronavirus outbreak.
This time, to put on the show, Scorpion Kings will collaborate with Amstel and G21 Live, one of SA’s top event producers.
They shared the special guests joining them on stage in a joint post on social media that included information about the summer tour’s dates across the nation.
The duo will be joined by a number of the artists they signed to under their separate record labels, Piano Hub and New Money Gang Records, making this edition of “Scorpion Kings Live” a family affair.
Young Stunna, Daliwonga, Bontle Smith, Nia Pearl, Felo Le Tee, and Mas Musiq are a few examples of this group. The promotional video that they published on Instagram included the whole cast of performers that would appear during the trip.
Beginning on December 11 at the Grand Arena in GrandWest, “Scorpion Kings Live” will go to Johannesburg on February 25 at the Johannesburg Expo Center in Nasrec.
Additionally, East London, Kimberley, Bloemfontein, Rustenburg, Polokwane, and Durban will be visited by the explosive music event. Local performers from each region will also be included; they will be revealed closer to the time of each concert.
