Jenna Ortega, an American actress, confirmed the second season of the hit supernatural comedy horror series ‘Wednesday’. She revealed that season 2 of the series would consist of more horror and less romance.
Ortega, who rose to fame after Wednesday, revealed that work has just started for the second season of the Netflix series. Recently, Ortega promoted her new film Scream VI and her Saturday Night Live episode as host. During the event, she talked about Wednesday Season 2. She revealed that the second season would feature its horror aspect and that the main character of Wednesday Addams would be an individual going forward.

The first season of Wednesday premiered in November 2022. It became the second most popular English-language series with over 400 million hours in just the first week of its release. It also received a prestigious Golden Globe nomination for Best Television Series.
When Jenna Ortega appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she reportedly said, “I think we just started getting a writers’ room together and kind of talking about it and everyone’s been really cool.” She said that the writers would highlight the horror aspect of the series and get Wednesday out of the romantic situation.
In January this year, Netflix officially renewed the second season of the series. Netflix said, “It’s official: Wednesday Season 2 is coming.”
