Teko Modise has shared his thoughts on whether or not he thinks Thabo Rakhale would be a good fit for Kaizer Chiefs.
The Siya crew reported over the past weeks that Rakhale has made it on Chiefs’ wish list despite the current transfer ban.
However, Amakhosi are in the process of trying to get the ban overturned and should they be successful, it is believed that Chiefs could look to pursue their interest in the player.
Although, Rakhale’s potential switch would also depend on whether or not Ernst Middendorp will be at Naturena next season, with indications that the player does not fit in to the German mentor’s system.
“I have nothing negative to say about Rakhale, he is my boy, I love him, but the facts are, playing at the position he is, with his talent I think he should be more on the score-sheet than him having too many videos of dribbling people. I will say this, at Orlando Pirates he was a fan favourite and he didn’t stay there long, so if that opportunity comes again for him to play for a big club like Kaizer Chiefs.
“The demands at a big team are big and every game is a big game for big teams, so for Jomo not playing regularly at Chippa, his consistency has always been an issue for me – where I know what he is capable of but he is struggling to be consistent and to have a great season.
