Former Kaizer Chiefs and Chippa United striker Lucky Khune has defined the challenges he faced in the course of his time with the Soweto giants.

When Khune joined Amakhosi in 2009/10 season, a lot used to be predicted from him mainly being the younger brother of goalkeeper, Itumeleng who was once already making waves in home football and with Bafana Bafana.

Unfortunately, things did not work out for Lucky, who moved on to Chippa United before his career in the top flight took a big knock.

The Baberwa FC striker says he doesn’t have any regrets in his career however admits he had some challenges to deal with being a young player at AmaKhosi.

“Regrets? I do not suppose i have any regrets but challenges in football, believe me each and every player has challenges,” Khune tells Kickoff.com.

“Because as you recognize on the subject every player has his very own role and if you manage to shield it, you grow to be a top player.

Khune, who is currently working on a pass abroad in Uzbekistan, is working hard to make sure when the pass is finalised, he is equipped to end his career on a high note.

“I’m nonetheless pushing, I have not modified football sensible and I’ve matured now. Now I’m hoping to stop my career on high level, I’m still hungry.”
