Musk, the CEO of SpaceX, has set another tentative deadline for the launch of Starship. According to Musk, Starship could be launched either in late February or in March. Musk reportedly said that his team has a ‘real shot’ for the launch mission.
Musk wrote on Twitter, “We have a real shot at late February. March launch attempt appears highly likely.”

What is Starship?
Starship is SpaceX’s rocket, measuring 400 feet tall. It is composed of two components – the Super Heavy Booster in the first stage and the Starship in the second stage. Reportedly, the rocket is capable of carrying heavy cargo and crew to low-Earth orbit (LEO), the Moon and Mars. The rocket vehicles’ elements are designed to be fully reusable.
Musk’s SpaceX has been gearing up for the first-ever orbital test launch of Starship. The upcoming test of the rocket could involve a Super Heavy prototype known as Booster 7 and the Ship 24 Starship variant. The two variants have performed “static fire” trials.
SpaceX has so far failed to launch the rocket on several deadlines set by Musk. Earlier, Musk announced that Starship would be ready for launch in July 2022. However, SpaceX was unable to launch the rocket on the deadline.
According to reports, the Starship is still undergoing tests at SpaceX’s Starbase facility in Boca Chica, an area on the eastern portion of a sub-delta peninsula of Cameron County, Texas, the United States.
