Malawi: Court Orders Peter Mutharika To Pay For Constitutional Mandate “Insubordination”

Malawi’s Ex-President, Peter Mutharika has been ordered by a court of law to pay for a violation of constitutional mandate, this is for the litigation for violating a mandate in the constitution. The Court also ordered the former head of public service to do likewise.

The order gave before the official re-appointment misfortune in June was endorsed by Muhura, and later removed by Mutharika. In any case, the issue was prosecuted for a legal survey as Several gatherings — including the persuasive Malawi Law Society and the Association of Magistrates, accepted the order had been an obstruction with legal freedom.

The court found that Mutharika and Muhura had acted “rebelliously, were preposterous, were not reasonable and acted outside their sacred command”
