Travel: Zimbabwe Claims Debt From Domestic Airlines

The Zimbabwean Government has decided to pay the debt of the country’s domestic airline Air Zimbabwe, this debt is a whooping 300 million U.S. dollars due to the impact of the coronavirus.

Tending to a post-bureau media instructions, Information Minister Monica Mutsvangwa said the remaking would accommodate the installment to loan bosses, just as, return the carrier to benefit

Inferable from the essential idea of the public aircraft, Cabinet made plans to accept the obligation just as the expansion of the Air Zimbabwe Reconstruction period to June 30, 2021,” Mutsvangwa said.

She said the aircraft would continue trips to Victoria Falls and Bulawayo on Dec. 21 subsequent to continuing territorial trips in October.
